Rooh Afza
A century-old rose-and-herb cordial poured over ice on summer afternoons. Pour, stir, remember.
Root Crate
Launching soon
Root Crate is a curated box of flavors, objects, and stories from one country at a time. We start with Pakistan, and we have many more to come.
Every Root Crate is built around a single country. Inside, you'll find the snacks people grew up on, the drinks shared at family tables, and a few quiet, surprising objects that tell you something about the place.
We're not trying to summarize a culture. We're trying to send you a thoughtful slice of one: to remind you of home, to introduce you to somewhere new, or just to give you something delightful to open.
Our first crate celebrates Pakistan. The next ones will travel elsewhere.
Five staples chosen for nostalgia, plus three quiet surprises that speak to Pakistan in their own way. Each crate is small, deliberate, and built to be opened slowly.
A century-old rose-and-herb cordial poured over ice on summer afternoons. Pour, stir, remember.
Crisp, fiery potato sticks dusted with chili and salt. The packet that disappears at every gathering.
The rainbow-bright fruity chews of every Pakistani childhood. Tangy, sweet, and impossible to eat just one of.
The original Pakistani biscuit. Crisp, faintly sweet, and best dipped twice into a steaming cup of milky chai.
The cult-classic ice-cream soda in electric green. A taste of every Karachi summer, in a single can.
A small object you'll meet when you lift the lid.
Not a snack. Quietly, surely Pakistan.
Something to keep, long after the crate is empty.
Three of the eight aren't snacks. They're small keepsakes, chosen to speak of Pakistan in their own quiet way.
Every Root Crate opens with a moment of place. The Pakistan crate greets you in green and cream, with a star and crescent, and three words: Welcome to Pakistan.
Inside, the staples we grew up on, the surprises that whisper a country, and a small story for each.
We're putting the final touches on Crate No 01. Check back shortly, or come find us when the doors open.
